"Arise! Ultra Star God of Water" ( ()て! (みず)超星神 (ちょうせいしん),   Tate! Mizu no Chōseishin) is the fifteenth episode of The Gransazers. Directed by Hirochika Muraishi and written by Toshimichi Okawa, it aired on January 17, 2004.

Plot

At Ichiro Horiguchi's lab, Ai Uozumi is talking with Tenma Kudo, Ichiro Horiguchi, and Akira Dentsuin when Makoto Sorimachi enters. Uozumi introduces him to the others, and informs him that Tappei Mikami is training with fellow Sazer Ryoko Amemiya. She also tells him about the Gransazer's joint mission of defending Earth against aliens, but Sorimachi is quick to dismiss their statements. He then stubbornly insists the Water Tribe are capable on their own before leaving. Uozumi catches Sorimachi leaving and tries to reason with him, with Sorimachi adamant that the water tribe does not need help. Meanwhile, Mikami trains with Amemiya in an attempt to awaken his Gransazer powers. As Mikami is frustrated with his lack of progress, Amemiya states that Kudo awakened primarily because his life was at stake. Amemiya begins speculating as to why the rest of the water tribe has awakened, but Mikami receives a call from Sorimachi, asking him to protect Leviathan at the port. Amemiya then offers Mikami a ride, which he accepts.

Discussing ancient engravings of a Robot named Guntras, Horiguchi is unsure whether it could be another Ultra Star God, as all four tribes already have one. Upon closer examination of the engravings, Masaki Wakui's assistant Shuichi Hoshiyama suggests the device they possess may be Guntras' controller. On a rooftop, Impactor Lucia is too weak to stand, and Impactor Radia promises revenge against the Gransazers. Just then, his colleague Logia arrives and warns him not to act on his own. However, Radia leaves and promises to prove his strength outmatches Logia's. Immediately after arriving at the port, Uozumi and Sorimachi are surrounded by JSDF's defense forces, with Soichiro Okita refusing to acknowledge them as Gransazers. Okita and Sorimachi exchange warnings and threats, but Mika and Ken Shido arrive to attempt to defuse the situation. As Kudo arrives and angrily runs towards Sorimachi, Radia appears and begins menacing the special forces with his Gigfighters. Kudo begins to transform, but Mika convinces him to allow the water tribe to face Radia alone as, reasoning that they would not appreciate interference. Just then, Amemiya and Mikami arrive, with the former fighting off Radia's Gigfighters as Mikami watches. At the same time, Sorimachi and Uozumi transform into their Sazer forms to challenge Radia. Just when Amemiya is overwhelmed, Mikami charges in and begins pummeling the Gigfighters. After besting several of them, Mikami victoriously raises his fist into the air before transforming into Sazer Gans.

As Radia fights off Sazers Gorbion and Pisces, he steps back and grows to giant size before stomping towards Leviathan. Just when he is preparing to destroy it, however, it begins emitting light as the water tribe decides to activate it. The Ultra Star God begins battling Radia as Sazer Gorbion takes the controls and transforms it into Warrior Mode. Leviathan and Radia begin fighting, with the former gaining the upper hand despite Radia's skill. Though Lucia cautions him to retreat, Radia promises to prove his strength and fires upon Leviathan before retrieving his Mega Axe. Radia begins menacing Leviathan just as the mech activates its finisher, diving down from midair. The attack destroys Radia's axe before obliterating him entirely, resulting in a large explosion. The assembled water and fire tribes, as well as Amemiya, begin to celebrate. They are interrupted by Okita, who declares he will recognize the water tribe as Gransazers, much to their delight.
