"Shobijin Slump" (小美人のスランプ,   Shōbijin no Suranpu) is the 23rd episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again and the tenth episode of its second season. Written by Taketo Shinkai and Yuki Hirokawa, it aired on Japanese television on June 5, 2024. An English-subtitled version followed on the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO YouTube channel that June 12.

Plot

Chibi Mothra attempts to negotiate with the squabbling Shobijin, but they tell her to stay out of it before shouting at each other what they find most attractive in boys, only to end up having different answers: one of them says good looks while the other says earnings. While they continue to argue with each other, Chibi Mothra again tries to diffuse the situation, telling them that everyone has different opinions, though the Shobijin retort that as twins they're supposed to stay in synchrony. Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Minilla suddenly appear and ask what is going on. After exchanging pleasantries with Chibi Minilla, the Shobijin grow worried about the others noticing that they are off-sync with each other, though they voice these concerns within earshot of Chibi Godzilla. They attempt to initiate a conversation, but produce different topics once again, resulting in an argument and confusing both Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Minilla as Chibi Mothra explains that they are out of sync. Chibi Minilla points out that they could use their telepathy to get back in sync, similar to how they both telepathically communicate with Chibi Mothra. Though the Shobijin are confident they can communicate with Chibi Mothra, she says it isn't very consistent; when Shobijin try to describe Chibi Mothra's thoughts, they not only produce different answers, but neither reflect what Chibi Mothra was actually thinking. Chibi Minilla suggests they instead start with more obvious questions, and Chibi Godzilla asks them if they would rather go to the beach or mountains for vacation. Once again out of sync, the Shobijin respond with the nightclub and night pool. Chibi Godzilla then asks them to name the mushroom whose name began with "matsu" that grew on the island, but the Shobijin somehow manage to produce completely random answers. Chibi Godzilla comments that they were not even close, annoying them to the point where they begin to insult him together. Pleased to be back in sync, the Shobijin celebrate with the others present by reiterating what shallow qualities they look for in boys, though Chibi Minilla despairs that the Shobijin are only in sync when prejudiced.
