In fiction
- The aliens from the Third Planet in the Black Hole return to conquer the Earth. They, along with the deranged marine biologist Doctor Shinzo Mafune unleash a rebuilt Mechagodzilla and a dinosaur called Titanosaurus upon Japan. Thankfully, Godzilla arrives and does battle with the two monsters, eventually destroying Mechagodzilla for a second time and knocking Titanosaurus back into the sea. (Terror of Mechagodzilla)
