The Hispanic Skull Islanders are a tribe of Skull Island natives in the Monsterverse whom descend from Spanish explorers that shipwrecked on the island centuries prior to the present-day. Residing in a village constructed on the shore, sealed off from the rest of the island by a massive wall composed of enormous trunks, this tribe like the indigenous and more ancient Iwi coexist with Kong under the ape's protection. Between 1973 and 1993, a young woman had befriended Kong and grown intimately close to the young Titan.
