The episode opens with a town hall meeting about destroyed farmlands that is shortly attacked by [[Armillaria]]. Meanwhile, [[H.E.A.T.]] is testing some new equipment, but it is destroyed by [[Godzilla/Godzilla: The Series|Godzilla]]. They are then approached by their lawyer who hands them a lawsuit for fifty million dollars in damages by the city of Miami. [[Niko Tatopoulos]], [[Elsie Chapman]], and [[Monique Dupre]] leave to testify while [[Randy Hernandez]] and [[Mendel Craven]] stay behind. They are then called to Michigan to respond to the Armillaria attack, but on the way they are attacked by it. They escape, but become lost in the forest and they craft primitive weapons. By tracing their cellphone signal, the rest of H.E.A.T. was able to locate them and take [[Anthony Hicks]] to assist them. They find the two being attacked by Armillaria, but they are soon attacked themselves and are rescued by Godzilla. During the fight, the fungus attacks Monique and drains her of amino acids, which they soon learn of. They soon discover the Armillaria's nature and begin to use radar technology to locate the brain. They find it and begin to shoot it with lasers to penetrate its thick outer layer, but it attacks and Godzilla arrives once again to fight it. He is able to defeat it after moving it to a sandy area with no living things for it to absorb, and blasting it with his Atomic Ray.

Plot

They are then approached by their lawyer who hands them a lawsuit for fifty million dollars in damages by the city of Miami. Niko Tatopoulos, Elsie Chapman, and Monique Dupre leave to testify while Randy Hernandez and Mendel Craven stay behind. They are then called to Michigan to respond to the Armillaria attack, but on the way they are attacked by it. They escape, but become lost in the forest and they craft primitive weapons. By tracing their cellphone signal, the rest of H.E.A.T. was able to locate them and take Anthony Hicks to assist them. They find the two being attacked by Armillaria, but they are soon attacked themselves and are rescued by Godzilla.
