"Lizard Season" is the thirty-fifth episode of Godzilla: The Series and the fourteenth episode of season 2.
Plot
The episode opens with Cameron Winter breaking the three hunters from "Cat and Mouse" out of jail. He takes them to his base and begins training them to use the Lizard Slayers. One of the hunters, named Hank, is suspicious of Winter. Meanwhile, H.E.A.T. is tracking Godizlla to the southeast, where he is attacked by the Lizard Slayers. He is nearly defeated, but H.E.A.T. calls in the military to defend Godzilla, who attacks them. Winter reminds the Lizard Slayers that in order to collect their reward, they must defeat Godzilla themselves, so they begin to fire on the military, allowing Godzilla to escape. Randy Hernandez is able to access Winter's servers, but in doing this he allows Winter to hack the Heat-Seeker, and begins to attack Godzilla with it. Godzilla returns fire, and Monique Dupre is able to sever Winter's connection by causing a power surge on the boat. Winter then orders that the Lizard Slayers attack the Heat-Seeker, and they split into teams to defeat them. Randy and Monique are able to disable Lizard Slayer 2 by launching a missile at it, while Elsie Chapman and Mendel Craven use N.I.G.E.L. to down Lizard Slayer 3. Niko Tatopoulos and Anthony Hicks then infiltrate Lizard Slayer 1, where they get into a fight with its pilot. He is saved by Godzilla, and the hunters are arrested and framed for stealing the Lizard Slayers, which Cameron is, ironically, able to sell to the military in bulk.
