Shochiku Company, Limited (松竹株式会社 is a Shōchiku Kabushikigaisha)Japanese film production company and distributor. It is headquartered in Tsukiji, Chuo, Tokyo. Among many others, Shochiku has produced a handful of tokusatsu films, most notably The X from Outer Space and its comedic remake Monster X Strikes Back: Attack the G8 Summit. Shochiku has also distributed films for both Kadokawa, such as The Great Yokai War and Gamera the Brave, and Tsuburaya Productions.
