Information
CinemaScope Adventure: Godzilla was released in November of 1984[1] at a price of ¥4,800. The game is an adaptation of the original 1954 Godzilla.
Gameplay
The game is entirely text-based: the player progresses along the story by entering a keyword depending on the screen they are currently in.
The game is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on Dr. Kyohei Yamane going to Odo Island where Godzilla is discovered. The second part follows Hideto Ogata, wandering Tokyo and talking with Emiko Yamane to persuade Dr. Daisuke Serizawa. The third part has Dr. Serizawa confronting Godzilla with the Oxygen Destroyer.
