Roblox is a massively multiplayer online and game creation system platform developed by Roblox Corporation.
On April 17, 2019, Roblox released limited-edition promotional in-game items in a collaboration with Godzilla: King of the Monsters.[1] Three more Godzilla items were released that June 21, obtained by completing the Creator Challenge Quiz: Rodan's Head, Godzilla Spine Backpack, and Ghidorah's Wings.
On March 19, 2021, a second event collaboration based on Godzilla vs. Kong started within the Roblox game Islands. The event lasted from March 19 to April 4.
On March 7, 2024, a third event collaboration based on Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, called Godzilla X Kong Obby, started.

Islands Godzilla vs. Kong event
During 2021, a Roblox experience known as "Islands" held an event for Godzilla vs. Kong which added two new islands to the game, Godzilla Island and Skull Island. Each island had two quests, which were awarded by NPCs Holt and Basco on their respective islands. Upon completion of a quest, the player was given an item, and after finishing the second one, they were also awarded with a badge.
Godzilla Island quests and awards
- Quest #1: Disable three turrets scattered across the lake and locate five Godzilla footprints.
- Reward: Godzilla Trophy.
- Quest #2: Complete an obby, view Godzilla using binoculars, and clear the rumble on the ground.
- Reward's: Godzilla Staff and Godzilla Badge.
Skull Island quests and awards
- Quest #1: Harvest 10 coconuts and find and study five bone plies.
- Reward: Kong Trophy.
- Quest #2: Find Bosco's pouch, climb three mountains, and look at Kong using Binoculars.

- Prior to the Godzilla vs. Kong-themed event announcement, an incomplete model of Kong was leaked by a group of players called "The Leak Gang" on March 1.[2]
- There is a hat in the game called "Ultraman", although it appears to be a homage to Mega Man and not the Tsuburaya Productions character Ultraman.[3]
- Mathzilla is a Roblox item that went on sale on May 10, 2010.
- Starting on February 9, 2024, and continuing over the next several days, numerous fan-made Godzilla-related Roblox experiences were removed from the platform, with lead Kaiju Universe developer and owner Verret identifying a DMCA notice as the cause of his own experience's removal.[4] Eventually, Kaiju Universe was re-released but with an major overhaul,[5] with all the Godzilla character models removed or altered into original characters, and Verret stating that they were waiting to get an official license from Toho to use them again.[citation needed]
- Although the Godzilla Tail item is based on Godzilla's evolved form, it lacks a thagomizer.
