P Godzilla vs. Evangelion: G Cell Awakening (Pゴジラ対エヴァンゲリオン〜G細胞覚醒〜 Pī Gojira tai Evangerion: Jī Saibō Kakusei) is an upcoming Japan-only pachinko game developed by Bisty and published by Fields. It is licensed through Toho and khara, Inc. as part of the companies' ongoing Godzilla vs. Evangelion merchandise and media collaboration. It features an original crossover story between the Rebuild of Evangelion films and the Godzilla franchise. It will be released in December 2022.
Story
Many years ago, Godzilla wrought untold destruction before suddenly disappearing, though humanity continued to fear him as the "God of Destruction." In the future, the secret agency NERV combats deadly extraterrestrial creatures known as Angels using giant humanoid weapons called Evangelion. In the midst of the battle between the Evangelion and the Angels, Godzilla suddenly reappears. NERV deploys Evangelion Unit-01 to battle him, but their confrontation is interrupted by the arrival of the King of the Angels: the Space Monster King Ghidorah. The three-headed monster boasts overwhelming power that is superior to both Godzilla and Unit-01, forcing them to work together to save the Earth. When even Godzilla and Unit-01's combined efforts are not enough, Godzilla uses his atomic breath to imbue Unit-01 with his power, physically transforming it into a Godzilla-Evangelion hybrid.
