Greenman vs. Spider II (グリーンマン対2代目スパイダGurīnman tai 2-daime Supaidā, lit. Greenman vs. Second Generation Spider) is the thirty-ninth episode of Go! Greenman.
The episode begins in the Underground Cave with a furious Maoh yelling at Tonchiki for his constant failure to destroy Greenman and retrieve the blood of children. On the overworld, Tonchiki has already deployed a monster creation in a wooded area where three small children are bug catching. The boys step in to a clearing, but suddenly three giant spider webs appear around them and trap them in the area. The monster then appears revealing its identity to be a reincarnation of Spider, Spider II. Spider II begins to attack the children but one of them manages to activate a Green Call. The mechanical hero Greenman appears before them, answering the call. They begin to battle, Spider II easily slapping Greenman with his appendages. However, the monster becomes distracted by Tonchiki who accidentally falls in to one of the webs. This gives Greenman an opening to set the children free. They exchange a few more hits, but Greenman runs out of the area in to an open field. Spider follows and the battle resumes. The monster continues to overwhelm Greenman with strikes to the head, easily taking the upper hand. Albeit, Greenman manages to knock Spider to the ground and pin him, causing Maoh (who is looking on to the fight from a viewing screen in the Underground Cave) to order Tonchiki to act. Obeying his master's command, Tonchiki casts a spell on Spider II causing him to rapidly grow to a giant size. Greenman activates his machinery to alter his own size, matching that of his opponent. Their battle resumes in a small town where Spider continues to pull ahead. Tonchiki sees an opportunity to demonstrate Spider II's trump card, ordering the monster to do so. Spider begins to spit a stream of webbing at Greenman, incapacitating him. With their hero occupied, the children are attacked by Tonchiki but are able to easily grab the demon and throw him to the ground. They use the Green Call once more, this time giving Greenman a boost of vitality. He is able to manipulate the webbing around him, lifting it in to the air off of himself and transporting it on to Spider II. Anticipating death, the monster begins to flee but is ultimately destroyed by Greenman's Flash Shock attack.
