Star Godzilla. (Sutāgojira スターゴジラ) is an unmade 1980 Godzilla film.
History
Star Godzilla is a unmade kaiju film. It was being worked on without permission. The studio behind it posted an advertisement for it on Variety, where Toho quickly shut the project down. Little to nothing is known about the plot. The poster states that "The Old World and the New World Meet". This could give a clue about what the plot was about.
Trivia
- This is one of many illegal Godzilla films, others were Godzilla vs the Wolfman and Godzilla Heritage
- The poster features a Gorilla, its unknown if this is a King Kong bootleg or another Gorilla
