Greenman vs. Gorilla Series Go! Greenman Episode # 38

Greenman vs. Gorilla (グリーンマン対ゴリラ,   Gurīnman tai Gorira) is the thirty-eighth episode of Go! Greenman.

Plot

The episode begins in the Underground Cave with Maoh villainously laughing in front of Tonchiki and two of his minions. Tonchiki reassures his master of Greenman's destruction as always, and it is decided that their next monster is to be deployed. Tonchiki and the new monster, Gorilla, teleport to the overworld and kidnap a boy from a group of small children. Gorilla carries the child to an open field, but the boy uses a Green Call to signal for help. Greenman appears in the sky and makes a landing before the monster. Greenman charges Gorilla who puts the boy down in preparation for the battle. They begin to exchange punches as Tonchiki draws a circle around them with his foot, turning the engagement in to a sumo match. Maoh immediately disproves of Tonchiki's tomfoolery and casts a spell on him to focus on the task at hand, which in turn makes Tonchiki order Gorilla to fight harder. The monster begins to firmly plant its feet, causing Greenman to fall down each time he charges for its chest. Tonchiki transports himself back to the Underground Cave in an attempt to further reassure Maoh, and they look on to the fight from a viewing screen. Greenman is overpowered by Gorilla's strong punches and kicks, and takes a step back to use his Leg Arrow ability. The arrow flies towards Gorilla and becomes lodged in the monster's chest. However it easily brushes the arrow off of its skin and continues fighting. Greenman continuously throws punches at the monster's head and chest to seemingly no avail until he finally knocks the sturdy creature down, causing it to lose consciousness. Suddenly, Tonchiki appears before Gorilla's body and casts a spell on him, causing him to leap back to his feet and rapidly grow to giant size. Greenman, who had also been knocked down, gets up and activates his machinery to also alter his size. The combatants continue their battle in a small town where after a few traded hits, Gorilla picks up a large boulder and tosses it at Greenman. The hero dodges the boulder but is knocked to the ground by Gorilla's powerful punches and begins to be choked. Greenman is able to quickly escape Gorilla's hold however by summoning the Greenman Stick and using it to knock the monster off of him. They both return to a standing position, resuming their battle with Greenman now taking the upper hand. Gorilla is quickly knocked down and Greenman is able to use his Mouth Beam attack to destroy Gorilla once and for all.
