The monster's history is unknown. Its relation to the other unmade Godzilla 2014 monster, Rokmutul, is also unknown.
Trivia
- Pterodactyl was likely reworked into the winged M.U.T.O.
- Pterodactyl may be loosely based on Rodan, being a winged pterosaur-like reptile, just as Rokmutul shows evidence of being based on Anguirus.
