The Biomonster (バイオモンスター Baiomonsuta) is an unmade monster planned for the unmade film Godzilla vs. Biomonster.
Name
The Biomonster’s name possibly stems from a combination of “bio-engineering” and “monster”.
Design
The Biomonster appears to be a large, muscular, robotic humanoid, with mechanical parts emerging from various sections of its body. It has five fingers on each hand, three toes on each foot, and no visible neck. It is marked with an “01” decal on its right shoulder. The Biomonster also has black dots on each segment of its fingers, the purposes of which are unknown.
History
Godzilla vs. Biomonster
The Biomonster was created in a similar manner to Frankenstein’s monster in order to defeat Godzilla. At some point, both monsters would fight, committing “double suicide” in the end.
Abilities
G-Cells
Due to being made from Godzilla’s G-Cells, the Biomonster’s skin is quite resilient. [1]
Goggles
The purpose of the Biomonster’s goggles is unknown.
Trivia
- The idea of an monster used from enhanced version of Godzilla cells would be repeated with Orga in Godzilla 2000: Millennium though the concept of an monster being created from Godzilla’s cells was previously done with Biollante and SpaceGodzilla.
