Fonshuragon (フォンシュラゴン is a Fonshuragon)kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in episode 47 of the 1973 tokusatsu kaiju series, Go! Greenman.
Name
Although almost always listed as Fonshuragon (フォンシュラゴン) in media, including the title card of Greenman vs. Fonshuragon, the monster is instead listed on page 255 of the first volume of the 1990 publication, All Kaiju Kaijin as Foshuragon (フォシュラゴン).[1] This omission of the letter "n" however, is most likely erroneous.
Design
Fonshuragon resembles a cross between a frog and a fish. Its skin is a dark brown color with orange and blue markings. It has a long spike protruding from the top of his head similar to Shilarji. Its fingers and toes are tipped with round bulbs in a similar manner to frogs.
History
Go! Greenman
Greenman vs. Fonshuragon
Fonshuragon was the forty-eighth monster to battle Greenman.
Abilities
- Fonshuragon can emit a cold air from its mouth which freezes opponents.
