Template:Kaiju Infobox Unmade Gigamoth C Type (ギガモスCタイプ is an unmade Gigamosu Shī Taipu)kaiju from the unmade 1991 Godzilla film, Micro Super Battle: Godzilla vs. Gigamoth.
Name
In the book Heisei Godzilla Perfection, concept art of the creature is given the designation of Gigamoth C Type, despite resembling a giant bird rather than a moth. The unofficial name "Archaeopteryx" is used for the creature by some fans due to its lack of resemblance to the unmade kaiju Gigamoth and closer resemblance to the extinct dinosaur genus Archaeopteryx.
History
Micro Super Battle: Godzilla vs. Gigamoth
Not much is known about the role it would have had or how long it would have lasted in its debut film, but early script ideas for the film involved a normal bird mutating into the monster from the radiation that leaked off of the new Mechani-Kong. It was meant to fight Godzilla in Las Vegas.
