Digimon Color Godzilla 70th Edition (デジタルモンスターCOLOR ゴジラ 70th Edition Dejitaru Monsutā Karā Gojira Sebuntiasu Edishon) is a handheld game which crosses over the Digimon and Godzilla franchises in celebration of the latter's 70th anniversary. It features 34 characters across the two franchises who can be raised as virtual pets, including the original hybrid monsters MetalGreymon: "G" Erosion Mode, SkullGreymon: "G" Erosion Mode, Mugendramon: Type-3 (Modified) Mode, and WarGreymon: "G" Erosion Mode.[1]
The game was sold exclusively through the online retailer Premium Bandai; in Japan, orders were open March 21–April 21, 2025, and units shipped August 18,[2][3] while in the U.S., orders were open from an unknown date until April 15 and shipping was set for October.[1] Two designs were available: a black WarGreymon: "G" Erosion Mode Color (ウォーグレイモン:“G”侵食モードカラー Wōgureimon: "Jī" Shinshoku Mōdo Karā) and a white WarGreymon: "G" Erosion Mode Classic Color (ウォーグレイモン:“G”侵食モード クラシックカラー Wōgureimon: "Jī" Shinshoku Mōdo Kurashikku Karā).
A year after the game's release it will be followed by another, Digimon Pendulum Color Godzilla Edition, in August 2026.

Gameplay
The player is tasked with training, battling and raising monsters from both the Digimon and Godzilla series, starting by hatching a Botamon. By training frequently and battling other monsters, the player's monster will accumulate G-Cells, which influences evolution towards the Godzilla monsters and G-Eroded Digimon.
The training game has the player press A or B to attack high or low at incoming G-weapons before MOGUERA appears before their monster. The player must then press A or B to raise their power meter to 4 bars to win.
Once the current monster reaches the Child stage, they can partake in battles and random encounters, which will be signified by the Godzilla theme playing while the monster calls out. Battles take up to five turns, ending when one of the combatants lands three hits on their opponent. A high win rate and battle count increases the chances of the monster successfully evolving to the Ultimate stage.
When certain monsters die, they have a chance of leaving behind a G-Cell Fragment that grants a power bonus to the monster that hatches from it and allows them to evolve into certain otherwise-restricted monsters.

Trivia
- The Digital Monster Ver. 5 handheld was originally intended to be a collaboration with the Godzilla franchise, but ultimately released in 1998 as a regular Digimon game.[4]
- Digimon Color Godzilla 70th Edition is only Zilla's second video game appearance, and the first since the mobile game Godzilla Kaiju Collection 10 years prior. It is also the very first video game to feature an original model created for Godzillasaurus, as all of the character's previous video game appearances simply used stills from his film appearance.
