History
S.O.S. Tokyo! Godzilla's Suicide Strategy
Chamelegon was an alien mecha deployed by the Titan Aliens in an effort to eliminate Godzilla and seize control of the planet Earth. Godzilla first encountered Chamelegon in the Japanese Alps, noticing the invisible robot fly overhead. After battling and driving away another of the aliens' pawns, Gigan, Godzilla is lured by Chamelegon to a nearby city, seeking to turn humanity against him by making it appear as though he is trying to destroy the city. The military drives off Godzilla by blinding him with a chemical dye, sending the Monster King fleeing back into the Alps. Chamelegon and Gigan are then seen attacking relief efforts trying to bring food into the country. Following Japan's continued refusal to surrender to the Titan aliens, the space monsters began their march on Tokyo. However, they are soon halted by Godzilla, who burrows from out of the ground, having learned to cope with his lack of eyesight. Godzilla proceeds to defeat the robot and cyborg, ending the Titan aliens' plans of conquest.[1]
