Toho Visual Co., Ltd), is a Japanese art company and former film studio, officially established in 1970 as a subsidiary of Toho Co., Ltd. Toho Studios' art department became independent as Toho Bijutsu ("Toho Art") in 1970, and its visual department as Toho Eizo the following year. Toho Eizo was absorbed by Toho Bijutsu on June 1, 1988, forming Toho Eizo Bijutsu. As Toho Eizo, the company produced several of Toho's tokusatsu films, most notably the final three entries of the Showa series of Godzilla films. Another of Toho's subsidiaries and a frequent collaborator of Toho Eizo, Toho Pictures, took over executive production of the Godzilla series beginning with The Return of Godzilla in 1984, with Toho Eizo Bijutsu continuing to provide art direction.
