Revenge of SpaceGodzilla (スペースゴジラの復讐 Supesugojira no Fukushu) is a very early proposal for the seventh film of the Godzilla series' Heisei era, written by Yosuke Nakano.
Plot
Godzilla managed to destroy SpaceGodzilla with his Burn Spiral Heat Ray, but at a great price; Godzilla had passively absorbed too much of SpaceGodzilla's crystal cells during their battle, which began to replace his G-Cells. Spreading like a cancer throughout Godzilla's body, the SpaceGodzilla cells altered Godzilla's behavior and physical appearance and granting him the alien's abilities. Now completely corrupt, the SpaceGodzilla-ified Godzilla travelled throughout the world and spread devastation and his crystals throughout the defenseless human cities. Worse still, LittleGodzilla had disappeared from Baas Island after SpaceGodzilla's defeat. Just as all seemed lost, LittleGodzilla reappeared, now mutated and grown into a 50-meter tall Godzilla, and challenged his corrupted parent in a battle for Earth.
History
Revenge of Spacegodzilla was one of several proposed films written by Yosuke "Yo★Nakano" Nakano, taking place immediately after the events of the previous year's Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla. With the theme of Godzilla 7 then-undecided, Revenge of SpaceGodzilla lacked Godzilla's true death, which was a mandate in later proposals. When Yo★Nakano submitted his proposals to Toho, he abandoned Revenge of SpaceGodzilla in favor of Terror of SpaceGodzilla.
