Plot
Godzilla and Gamera meet and battle each other.
History
In 2002, Kadokawa approached Toho and offered to co-produce a Godzilla and Gamera crossover film. Toho, however, declined the offer. Afterwards, Toho produced the remaining films of the Millennium series, while Kadokawa went on to produce Gamera the Brave four years later in 2006 to celebrate Gamera's 40th anniversary.[1]

- Godzilla and Gamera previously battled in a live stage show in 1970, and met in a puppet show performed at the 1996 Hero Festival by Atelier Koganemushi, the group which would go on to produce the web series Godziban.[2] The Gamera incarnation from GAMERA -Rebirth- was added to the video game Godzilla Battle Line in September 2023.
