Eventually it was decided that the bones would be moved to an uninhabited island off the Miura Peninsula and the attacks ceased for the time being.

Kishima remains confident in the theory, His son Sumito wants to prove his father's theory using the bone fragment that was given to him to cause chaos in a trade fair where [[Ghost Godzilla]] shown up and attacks the fair. Kishima was glad his theory was correct but was mad at his son for missuing it to cause chaos and the processor take it away and lock it away. However after he leaves, it was stolen by a unknown person.

Godzilla vs. Godzilla (ゴジラVSゴジラ,   Gojira tai Gojira), also known as Godzilla vs. Ghost Godzilla (ゴジラVSゴーストゴジラ,   Gojira tai Gōsuto Gojira) in later drafts, is a series of concepts for the seventh Heisei Godzilla film. One of the better-known unrealized proposals in the series, this story pit the modern Godzilla against the restless spirit of the original Godzilla.

Overview

Following the release of Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla in 1994, Toho immediately began work on the next Godzilla film. Due to the impending release of the first American-produced Godzilla film by TriStar Pictures and its potential sequels, Toho decided to bring their series to a temporary close and cease production of Godzilla films until 2005. For the final entry of the Heisei series, Toho decided harken back to the original 1954 film. In the first iteration of this idea, Godzilla Junior traveled back to 1954 to fight against the original Godzilla.[1] Later versions pitted Godzilla against the restless spirit of the first Godzilla in the present. Concept art of Ghost Godzilla was submitted by Shinji Nishikawa on December 27, 1994.[2] This artwork revealed that in one draft of the film, Ghost Godzilla would possess LittleGodzilla and grow into a reincarnation of the 1954 Godzilla. Concept art for a Heisei version of Anguirus was also included in the book Heisei Godzilla Perfection, and was stated to be commissioned for Godzilla vs. Godzilla. Shinji Nishikawa: Drawing Book of Godzilla also contains concept art for Anguirus, designated "NEW Anguirus" and dated December 22, 1994, and stated to be for Godzilla vs. Godzilla. Nishikawa suggested Anguirus to diversify the cast, which was otherwise comprised of three Godzillas.[2] In another draft for the film, Ghost Godzilla possessed Anguirus instead, creating the new monster dubbed Godzirus. In another draft titled Godzilla vs. Baraguirus, Ghost Godzilla possessed the new kaiju Baraguirus, who possessed traits of both Baragon and Anguirus.[3] Godzilla vs. Godzilla also introduced the concept of the Anguirus Hound, a subspecies of Anguirus which was carried over into Godzilla vs. Barubaroi.

Ultimately, this concept, with different revisions written by Kazuki Omori and Shinji Nishikawa, was discarded because director Takao Okawara felt that a third consecutive film pitting Godzilla against a duplicate of himself (after Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II and Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla), would have been "too much."[4] The film was replaced with several other attempted projects, which gradually led to Godzilla vs. Barubaroi, which eventually became Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.
