Monster Godzilla (怪獣ゴジラ is a Kaijū Gojira)1954 novel based on the Nippon Broadcasting System's radio drama of the same name.[1] It was adapted by Sango Nagase from Shiro Horie's script for the radio drama, and finalized by Godzilla (1954) storywriter Shigeru Kayama, who is credited as its author.[1] Iwaya Shoten published the novel on October 25, 1954, a little over a week before Godzilla was released to theaters. Daiwashobo later republished it on October 30, 1983, with a second edition released that November 30. Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha also republished it on November 10, 1999.
