Shogakukan Introduction Encyclopedia: Godzilla (ゴジラ 小学館入門百科シリーズ―ピクチャー・ブックス 150) is a 1984 informational book about the Godzilla franchise written by Tomoyuki Tanaka.

The 176-page book, written by one of Godzilla's creators, Tomoyuki Tanaka, was originally published on March 10, 1984 and obtained multiple re-releases throughout the 1980's and 1990's. This is the 150th book in the Beginner's Encyclopedia Series, under the Hero subseries, focusing on Godzilla (入門百科シリーズ ヒーロー Godzilla Hyakka Shirīzu Hīrō Gojira, Beginner's Encyclopedia Series - Hero - Godzilla). Unlike the more famous Definitive Edition Godzilla Introduction from the same series, which gave out the backstory to the original Godzilla among other things, this book focuses more exclusively on on-screen information.[1]
