Inaccuracies and inconsistencies
Like LIFE's "Godzilla", this issue contains some inaccuracies.
- King Kong vs. Godzilla is inconsistently called both a 1962 and 1963 film. These are the years in which it was released in Japan and the United States, respectively.
- The Meat-Eater and Vastatosaurus rex are both referred to in the issue as Tyrannosaurus rex.
- The issue's "21st Century Kong" chapter states that Kong had grown to 148 feet by the time of Godzilla vs. Kong. His correct height in that film is 337 feet.
