Shinji Higuchi Special Effect's Field Notes: Visual Plans and Sketches (樋口真嗣特撮野帳 -映像プラン・スケッチ- is a 640-page Higuchi Shinji Tokusatsu Yachō: Eizō Puran, Suketchi)Japanese art book written by Shinji Higuchi. It is a collection of notes, sketches, and storyboards created by Higuchi for his films A Giant Warrior Descends on Tokyo (2012), Attack on Titan the Movie: Part 1 (2015), Attack on Titan the Movie: Part 2 (2015), and Shin Ultraman (2022), as well as his and Hideaki Anno's Shin Godzilla (2016) and Kensaku Sawada's Monkey Magic (2007), with additional commentary added from Higuchi. The book was published by PIE International in Asia and Oceania on December 23, 2022; a worldwide release followed on October 3, 2023.[1]
