Inaccuracies and inconsistencies
- The list of King Kong films includes The King Kong that Appeared in Edo which, despite its name, does not actually feature King Kong, but a human-sized anthropoid.
- The native tribe living on Skull Island are collectively labeled as Iwi regardless of continuity. Only the Skull Island natives from the Monsterverse are known as the Iwi.
- Tyrannosaurus rex is stated to appear in both the 1933 and 2005 King Kong films. The former actually features a "Meat-Eater" of indeterminate species, while the latter features the fictional Vastatosaurus rex.
- Mechagodzilla's signature weapon is labeled the Proton Scream regardless of continuity. Only the Monsterverse incarnation of the character utilizes an attack with this name.
- When discussing the 2023 Netflix series Skull Island, the Trapdoor Crab and Hawk Monster are referred to as "Crab Monster" and "Giant Pink Hawk", respectively.
