Trivia
- This is the first tie-in novel for the GODZILLA anime trilogy not written by Renji Oki. This novel's author, Takahiro Okura, would go on to write the novelization for GODZILLA: The Planet Eater.
- Despite being an adaptation of GODZILLA: Planet of the Monsters, this novel is being released as a tie-in for GODZILLA: The Planet Eater, just as GODZILLA: Monster Apocalypse and GODZILLA: Project Mechagodzilla were tie-ins for the first two films of the trilogy.
