The Artificial Lightning Generator (人工雷発生装置 is a Jinkōrai Hassei Sōchi)superweapon that appeared in the 1964 film, Mothra vs. Godzilla. They are regular electrical pylons with Tesla coils attached to them.

After the Sikorsky H-19 Helicopters dropped metal nets onto Godzilla, the generators shot him with bursts of electricity. They eventually failed when their wires overloaded and snapped. It was later destroyed even more after Godzilla fired it with his atomic breath, causing it to melt and turn red.
