The Markalite GYROs (Giant Yoked ROcket) are three-staged transporter rockets which transport the large and cumbersome Markalite Cannons that appeared in the 1957 Toho film, The Mysterians.
They are 1000 meters tall, allowing for the height of the cannons contained inside, and can break into 3 pieces to deposit their cargo. A pair of smaller GYROs are attached to each cannon to slow their descent to the ground, acting as retrograde rockets to 'reverse' their fall.
