Monster Godzilla (怪獣ゴジラ is a Kaijū Gojira)1954 novel based on the radio drama of the same name that aired on the Nippon Broadcasting System.[1] Sango Nagase adapted it from Shiro Horie's script for the radio play, and it was finalized by Godzilla storywriter Shigeru Kayama, who is credited as its author.[1] Iwatani Shoten published the novel on October 25, 1954, a little over a week before Godzilla was released to theaters. Daiwashobo later republished it on October 30, 1983, with a second edition released that November 30.
