The Artificial Lightning Generator (人工雷発生装置 is a Jinkōrai Hassei Sōchi)superweapon that appeared in the 1964 film, Mothra vs. Godzilla. They are regular electrical pylons with Tesla coils attached to them.

After the Sikorsky H-19 Helicopters dropped metal nets onto Godzilla, the generators shot him with bursts of electricity. They eventually failed when their wires overloaded and snapped. Godzilla then proceeded to melt them with his atomic breath.
