G vs. G (2019) / G vs. G 2 (2022)
G vs. G is a 2019 short Godzilla fan film directed by Takuya Uenishi and submitted to the GEMSTONE Godzilla contest. It was uploaded to the GEMSTONE YouTube channel on March 20, 2019, and became one of the six prize-winners, a group which included Godziban.
An upcoming Toho-backed sequel, tentatively titled G vs. G 2, was announced at Godzilla Fest 2020 Online for a 2021 release, but was later rescheduled for a fall 2022 release to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Godzilla vs. Gigan.
