The Mitsubishi F-1 is a powerful Cold War-era Japanese fighter jet manufactured by the Mitsubishi Group, and the first fighter jet to be made in Japan after World War II. It is featured in the 1984 Godzilla film, The Return of Godzilla.
History

The Return of Godzilla
After Godzilla had been sighted approaching Tokyo, several Mitsubishi F-1s were scrambled in order to stop him. The jets engaged Godzilla in Tokyo Bay, but their weapons had no effect against the monster, who quickly obliterated them with his atomic breath.
