The North American F86F Sabre was a transonic jet fighter aircraft built and produced by North American Aviation. The F86F Sabre was featured in numerous Toho Template:Kaiju Template:FilmCs in the Showa era, making its debut in the 1954 Template:GFilmC Godzilla. It was often employed as a first line of defense against various attacking kaiju in these films, usually proving ineffective against the monsters it fought against.
