Demeking, the Sea Monster (デメキング,   Demekingu, lit. Demeking) is a 2009 Japanese kaiju film co-produced by DefStar Records, JollyRoger, OKWave, Organic, and Tornado Film. It is based on screenwriter Takashi Imashiro's 1991 manga of the same name.[1] It was released to Japanese theaters on March 7, 2009.

Description

"In 1969, a young man named Hachiya finds an anonymous letter in a glass bottle which foretells of the apocalyptic arrival of a cosmic monster known as Demeking. Since then, he has physically prepared himself in a lone struggle for that fateful day when the monster will arrive."[2]
