Pterodactyl concept art was submitted by Josh Nizzi early into the development of Godzilla 2014.[1]

The monster's history is unknown. Its relation to the other unmade Godzilla 2014 monster, Rokmutul, is also unknown.

  • While Pterodactyl was scrapped early during development, another winged monster was ultimately chosen as Godzilla's opponent in the finished film.
