Theater programs (映画パンフレット are eiga panfuretto, lit. movie pamphlet)Japanese theater-exclusive movie guides. Programs have been released for every kaiju and science fiction film produced by Toho, Daiei and more. They are typically released the same day a movie opened in Japanese theaters, including movies that were re-released under the Toho Champion Festival. In the case of Toho programs, two were often produced for each movie during the 1960s and 70s: one by Toho's marketing department, and another by its operations department.
