Godzilla (2014)
Several Ticonderoga cruisers, along with several members of the Arleigh Burke-class of destroyers would be anchored near the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. These ships would later engage Godzilla when he surfaced, indirectly causing the monster king to crash into the Bridge.

Godzilla vs Kong
Several ships of this class were in the Tasman Sea, escorting Kong to the Hollow Earth entrance in Antarctica. When Godzilla came, the aforementioned ships would engage the titan, with one being destroyed by the monster splitting the ship in half with his tail. After Kong was freed from his restraints, the ape titan would use another one of these ships as a makeshift stepping stone to get onto a nearby Aircraft Carrier. Another one of these ships would be responsible for dropping the depth charges that broke Godzilla's tail grip on Kong. The surviving ships would be powered down as to play dead so Godzilla would believe he won the engagement.
