Shin Ultraman (シン・ウルトラマン is an upcoming Shin Urutoraman)Japanese tokusatsu kaiju film, to be co-produced by Tsuburaya Productions, Toho, and khara, Inc. A successor to Shinji Higuchi and Hideaki Anno's previous tokusatsu endeavor, Shin Godzilla, it will serve as a film adaptation of the 1966 series, Ultraman. The film is to be tentatively released to Japanese theaters in 2021.[1]

Production
The first draft for Shin Ultraman was completed by Hideaki Anno on February 5, 2019.[5] The film is set to begin shooting in fall of 2019.[4]
