Waves of Gigan Miles appear and attack japan, easily destroying the JSDF's tanks and jets with little effort. Godzilla appears and beats the Gigan army, tossing them around and scalding them with his Atomic Breath.
As Godzilla appeared victorious, a strange object crashed down from the sky to challenge him, Gigan Rex.
Gigan rex lashed at Godzilla with his Rex blades, striking with precisive force to Godzilla's arms. After injuring Godzilla's arms, the slit on Gigan Rex's chest split open, revealing a large eye in his chest that fired a powerful laser, knocking Godzilla to the floor. Godzilla fired at Gigan Rex, causing him to leap out in the air and to retaliate with another swipe from his chainsaws. Godzilla caught the Rex blades in his hands, swinging Gigan Rex into the buildings below. Gigan Rex tried to stabilize himself using the sharp prongs on his tail as an anchor, but Godzilla sent him flying again with the whip of his tail and prepared to finish Gigan Rex with another beam of atomic energy. Gigan Rex caught the beam in-between his claws however, barely effected by it's power.
Running out of options, Gigan Rex summoned more of his minions, calling upon nine more Gigan Miles from the sky. The Gigan Miles bared their buzzsaws and quickly begin an all-out assault on Godzilla, grazing him with cuts and blasting him with lasers, until finally dogpiling onto him in an attempt to cut him to pieces.
Godzilla, just as all hope seemed lost, began surging with energy, blasting the gigans away with super-charged beams from his dorsal plates. He unleashed a powerful white version of his Atomic breath, turning the skies grey and wiping out half of the Gigan Miles. The remaining six Gigan Miles, under the command of Gigan Rex, give up their lifeforce to empower him. Forming an arcane aura of red energy from his newly siphoned power, Gigan Rex unleashed a final chest laser in a last-ditch effort to destroy the king of the monsters; Godzilla fired his atomic beam.
As their blasts of energy collided, the city was shrouded in blinding white light, and as the light subsided; Gigan Rex's charred body fell to the ground as Godzilla reigned victorious.
