As [[Godzilla/Legendary|Godzilla]] closed in on the Monarch base, he flashed lights from his plates as an "intimidation display". In the control center the maser were charged up and ready to fire, but [[Ishiro Serizawa]] told the gunners to hold their fire.
Shortly after [[Mark Russell]] arrived at Monarch's underwater base, Castle Bravo, [[Godzilla (Monsterverse)|Godzilla]] approached the site. Colonel [[Diane Foster]] ordered Chief Warrant Officer [[Jackson Barnes]], Staff Sergeant Anthony Martinez, and Master Sergeant Hendricks of G-Team to take control of the Maser Turrets outside and prepared to open fire on Godzilla. Mark suggested that they stand down unless they believed they could truly drive him off. Dr. [[Ishiro Serizawa]] agreed and ordered G-Team to hold their fire. Though Godzilla flashed his dorsal fins in an intimidation display and charged past the base, he ultimately did not attack.

The Maser Turret is an anti-Titan weapon that appears in the 2019 Legendary Pictures film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. At least three were mounted outside Monarch's Castle Bravo headquarters.

History

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Shortly after Mark Russell arrived at Monarch's underwater base, Castle Bravo, Godzilla approached the site.
