— Jackson Barnes (Godzilla: King of the Monsters)

Jackson Barnes is a Monarch G-Team member who appears in the 2019 Legendary Pictures Godzilla film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Barnes fulfilled his childhood desire to protect and serve by joining the United States Armed Forces, acing military training and becoming a munitions and heavy explosives expert. Barnes grew up watching monster movies, and his fascination for monsters only grew during his military career when he eagerly attempted to catch a glimpse of Godzilla while spending much of his military career at sea. This led Barnes to try out for Monarch's "G-Team" military branch, where he became a munitions expert serving under Col. Diane Foster. Barnes tests munitions and heavy ordinance intended for use against Titans, though he is aware it is intended primarily for use as a distraction rather than a deterrent against such creatures.[1]

He actually doesn't even say it in the film itself.

@VaderRaptor It DOES crop up in the novelization, though, but it's placement is really weird. He says it just after Godzilla has started wrestling with Ghidorah in Boston, before they find out about his radiation overload.
