Godzilla vs. Chaos (ゴジラVSカオス is an early proposal for the seventh and final Gojira tai Kaosu)Heisei Godzilla film. It featured Godzilla, LittleGodzilla, and the extradimensional kaiju Chaos battling over the bio-energy of Ghost Godzilla.
Plot
A three-way battle takes place between Godzilla, his adopted son LittleGodzilla, and the extradimensional monster Chaos over the bio-energy of Ghost Godzilla.
History
The proposal for Godzilla vs. Chaos was submitted by monster designer Minoru Yoshida on December 23, 1994, only a day after fellow designer Shinji Nishikawa submitted his proposal for Godzilla vs. Baraguirus. Yet another variation of the Godzilla vs. Ghost Godzilla idea, Godzilla vs. Chaos featured Godzilla, LittleGodzilla, and the new kaiju Chaos fighting over Ghost Godzilla's bio-energy. Little else is known about the story or the new monster Chaos, save that it was to hail from a different dimension.[1]
The idea to feature Ghost Godzilla was scrapped entirely during development of the tentatively-titled Godzilla 7, with director Takao Okawara citing the fact that Godzilla had already fought clones of himself in the previous two films as a reason for this.[2] As such, Godzilla vs. Chaos was discarded in favor of other proposals, which included Godzilla vs. Barubaroi and led to what eventually became Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.
