Godzilla vs. Junior Godzilla (ゴジラVSジュニアゴジラ,   Gojira tai Junia Gojira) is an unrealized proposal for the seventh and final Heisei Godzilla film. As its title suggests, it would have pit Godzilla against his adopted son, Godzilla Junior.

Plot

Godzilla does battle against his adopted son, who has now grown into Godzilla Junior. G-Force eventually uses its advanced weaponry to put an end to the adult Godzilla.

History

Godzilla vs. Junior Godzilla was the idea of monster designer Kaoru Kamigiku, who also worked on Godzilla vs. Barubaroi. Little is known of the story outside of Godzilla's battle with Junior and the fact G-Force would defeat Godzilla in the end. The only known piece of concept art for the story also features artwork of Barubaroi, as Kamigiku was working on designs for that monster as well at the time.[1] The idea was discarded in favor of Godzilla vs. Barubaroi, which eventually became the finished film Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.
