Ebirah (エビラ Ebira) is a giant crustacean kaiju who appeared in Godzilla: The Half-Century War.

In 1975, Ebirah was one of the many kaiju drawn to Accra, Ghana by a Psionic Transmitter created and activated by Dr. Deverich. He battles Godzilla and Hedorah before briefly attempts to attack a van with the A.M.F. members before being draw by the Psionic Transmitter which all the kaiju destroyed the building before departing.

Design

Ebirah uses his Showa design, although he is a much lighter red, has visible barnacles that blend in with his carapace and claws. His claws are uniquely the same length and size unlike other incarnations. His eyes and eyestalks are much smaller and are a brownish-pink.

Personality

Ebirah is an aggressive monster much like the rest, being called a force of nature. Battling both Godzilla and Hedorah in 1975, he briefly attempts to attack the van with the A.M.F. members. Later on he and the other kaiju all converged upon the Transmitter's location after a master control switch was activated. Afterward when they had destroyed the building, Ebirah along with the rest of the monsters all departed peacefully.

Origins

After the wake of Anguirus' appearance in 1967, more monsters began to appear all across the globe one of these being Ebirah. In response, the A.M.F. assembled more teams of kaiju experts, with one team being dedicated to researching and finding new ways to combat Ebirah with the use of high-tech sea mines being successful against the giant lobster.

History

Godzilla: 70th Anniversary

"The Half-Century Bore"

Ebirah is mention in 1971 during Godzilla and Hedorah's battle where Kentaro Yoshihara mentions that sea mine were used against Ebirah in the past and were effective against the giant crustacean but unsuccessful against Godzilla.

Godzilla: The Half-Century War

Godzilla: The Half-Century War #3

In 1975, Ebirah was among the many kaiju drawn to Accra, Ghana by a Psionic Transmitter created and activated by Dr. Deverich. During the chaos, Ebirah fought against Godzilla and Hedorah, clamping a claw on Godzilla's neck and shoulder, and later chased the van containing A.M.F. members driving through the city. After Deverich activated a master control switch on the Psionic Transmitter that summoned all the monsters to the power station it was contained within, Ebirah and the other kaiju immediately converged upon the Transmitter's location. Once the building was destroyed, the monsters departed peacefully.

Abilities

Physical abilities

Ebirah possess two large claws, Ebirah manages to hold his own against Godzilla and Hedorah, managing to get a claw on Godzilla's neck and shoulder. He later swipes at the A.M.F. members' van, nearly hitting them and crushing the ground right after.

Amphibiousness

Ebirah is hinted at being amphibious with the use of sea mines against him.

Weakness

High-tech sea mines were said to be successful in-use against Ebirah where as Godzilla they were said to be like "beach balls"

Godzilla: Rulers of Earth

Godzilla: Rulers of Earth #9

During a flashback narrated by the Shobijin, the ancient battle between King Caesar and Megalon soon bought more kaiju to rise in efforts to correct the disruption of the cosmic balance such as Ebirah along with Varan, who both attacked the surviving humans who were attempting to escape to the ocean. Once the great battle came to an end, Ebirah and the other kaiju fell dormant once more. He was classified as a "water" monster in a cave mural on Infant Island.

Godzilla: Rulers of Earth #13

As a Russian warmonger named Dyachenko talked about Kaiju attacks and how most countries were left unprotected despite some areas being defended by Jet Jaguar, MOGUERA, and Mechagodzilla. Ebirah was shown on a monitor, attacking a boat at an unknown location.

Godzilla: Rulers of Earth #17

Godzilla was recovering underwater from his battle with the Cryogs' Mechagodzillas and Mecha-King Ghidorah when several crystals start plummeting through the Earth's atmosphere from Gigan and SpaceGodzilla's battle with one landing nearby, crashing on the side of a nearby underwater mountain. Ebirah abruptly emerges from it and attacked the King of the Monsters, slashing his face before bringing the battle to the surface. Ebirah wrapped a claw around Godzilla's throat, but Godzilla shake him off by striking the crustacean with his atomic breath before grabbing and biting one of his claws. Their battle drew closer to the shores of São Paulo, Brazil,

Godzilla: Rulers of Earth #18

The duo continue to battle as Godzilla bites Ebirah's claw once more before flipping him on his side, Godzilla soon lifted Ebirah and threw him onto the land of São Paulo, Brazil, smashing his back into the ground. Ebirah attempted to retaliate by grabbing Godzilla's throat again, but was suddenly swarmed by newly hatched Meganulon, who broke through Ebirah's shell and drew blood. Ebirah snapped his claw shut on some of the Meganulon, cutting them in half, but Godzilla promptly blasting Ebirah with his atomic breath. While Godzilla was biting Ebirah's claws, Megaguirus soon arrived, causing Godzilla to toss Ebirah aside, Godzilla attempts to blast Megaguirus with his heart ray only for the giant bug to dodge it and then sting Ebirah's underbelly, causing him to shriek out in pain. Godzilla soon smacks Megaguirus off Ebirah with his tail with Ebirah finally retreated back into the ocean as soon as he had the opportunity.

Godzilla: Rulers of Earth #19

Ebirah is mentioned by the Shobijin about his and Megaguirus' return causes great concern.

Godzilla: Rulers of Earth #21

Ebirah is once more mentioned, this time by Lucy Casprell when the Trilopods began finding new Kaiju that the humans were unaware about. Ebirah was not seen again afterwards, nor did any of the Trilopods possessed his characteristics, suggesting he was one of very few kaiju on Earth to have evaded their detection completely.

Abilities

Physical abilities

Ebirah in the ancient past effortlessly destroyed a large wooden with one of his claws able to slash Godzilla's head and hold onto Godzilla's neck, having to get blasted by Godzilla's atomic breath in order to be shook off. Ebirah was capable of holding his own against Godzilla

Durability

Ebirah endurance blows from Godzilla. Ebirah also endurance Godzilla's atomic breath pointblank twice.

Amphibiousness

Ebirah is amphibious, capable of going on land, he was able to briefly out swim Godzilla underwater.

Weaknesses

Godzilla despite still being weaken from his battle against the Cryogs' Mechagodzillas and Mecha-King Ghidorah, manages to overpower the crustacean several times with his atomic breath blasting the lobster kaiju away twice. Bites from Godzilla and Meganulon were able to draw blood from Ebirah as well as Megaguirus.

Trivia

  • A continuity error is on issue 13 where Ebirah was shown on a monitor, despite this Ebirah only later on emerged underwater to battle Godzilla as well as the humans not knowing who Ebirah was besides Lucy Casprell.
  • The panel where Godzilla throws Ebirah over his shoulder and into São Paulo is almost identical to a famous production still from Ebirah, Horror of the Deep.
  • Ebirah along with Megalon are the only Kaiju to not have been shown or suggested to have encounter the Trilopods as well as being the only Kaiju to avoid their detection complelely.

Ebirah (エビラ Ebira) is a giant crustacean kaiju who first appeared in 2025: Godzilla MTBA

Design

Ebirah uses his Final Wars design in issue 8 with slight changes overall. His pupils are pure black with orange irises, and his body is entirely red with black highlights. His rostrum is further exaggerated, being incredibly long with serrations at the sides of it rather than across the top. Ebirah's teeth are red instead of brown and the inner areas of his claw are serrated.

However in issue 9, Ebirah uses his Showa Era design with a few differences once more, possessing glowing orange eyes, his body is still entirely red but without black highlights and in a lighter orangish-red color, longer antennas and a thicker tail.

— Manafu - (GAMERA (short film))

Gamera (ガメラ Gamera) is a giant flying turtle kaiju who appeared in the 2015 short film, GAMERA, made in commemoration of Gamera's 50th anniversary.

Gamera arrives in Roppongi, Tokyo, where he kills a swarm of Gyaos attacking the district. Ten years after, he once again appears to challenge against another Kaiju, Viras.

Development

Unlike all previous Gamera films, which depicted the monsters through suitmation, this short made full use of CGI, both due to budgetary and scheduling considerations and to appeal to audiences familiar with Legendary Pictures' Pacific Rim and Godzilla.

Gamera's new design was roughed out with a clay maquette sculpted by Kan Takahama, while his final 3D model was created by ModelingCafe. concept art depicts Gamera flying by shooting flames (labeled "boosters") from the limb holes in his shell and/or from dedicated ports toward the top of his shell though this is never shown in the final film.

Ishii stated during his NYCC appearance that the short would "absolutely" lead to the production of a new feature-length film, expected to release in either 2016 or 2017 with the short film being described as a "pilot,"However, no such film was ever produced with the only other Gamera project being 2023's GAMERA -Rebirth-, an unrelated Netflix anime series directed by Hiroyuki Seshita. However Ishii's Gamera served as the basis for Gamera from Gamera -REBIRTH- series. Ishii even receives credit on the show for "Gamera original design."

Design

Gamera has a resemblance to Gamera from the Heisei trilogy, specifically his design in Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris with some differences. He has a hunch stance with his arms and legs are larger with long, sharper claws on his fingers and toes. His skin up-close is almost rock-like in texture. his coloration is dark green color with fiery orange eyes with black pupils.

His shell is much more bulkier compared to other versions with much more visible jagged plates on his back that emit steam off him, he also posses a long tail with small plating up to the near tip with comparatively short spikes that also get smaller running down his tail. Due to being used the basis for Gamera in Gamera -REBIRTH-, he also shares resemblance to him as well.

Personality

Gamera doesn't show much personality in the short compared to other versions of Gamera. He seemly intentionally saves a boy named Manafu from getting devoured by a Gyaos and destroying the rest of the Gyaos without regard for the surrounding city. Ten years later he arrives to challenge Viras after the Kaiju was attacking Tokyo.

Origins

Gamera arrived after a swarm of Gyaos were attacking Roppongi, Tokyo.

Outside of this, his origins are completely unknown as it was a standalone short and never received anything else.

History

GAMERA 2015

In Roppongi, Tokyo, a swarm of Gyaos was attacking the district. Gamera arrived just in time before a young boy named Manafu, could be devoured by a large Gyaos, crushing the Gyaos under foot .Gamera then turns to an approaching swarm of Gyaos and takes in a huge breath of air, his mouth fiery before he soon unleashes a gigantic blast of fire that annihilates them all and destroying a large part of the district along with them.

Ten years later as Viras devastates Tokyo. Suddenly, Gamera appears once again to challenge the monster, destroying a building as he turns around before letting out a roar.

Abilities

Physical abilities

Gamera was able to instantly kill a large Gyaos with his foot, crushing the Kaiju without effort and ground along with it. Later on Gamera was able to destroy a building simply by turning around.

Fire-breathing

This version of Gamera possess his iconic fire-breathing attack though it is unnamed in the short. This attack was able to completely annihilate a swarm of Gyaos along with a huge chunk of Roppongi as well.

Shell

Just like any other Gamera, this version of the character also possess a large, bulky shell which was emitting steam in his first appearance in Roppongi.

Trivia

  • The sequence of Gamera charging his fire blast in this short resembles a similar scene from Gamera 2: Attack of Legion when Gamera is in Sapporo; in both, air swirls around his mouth as he inhales.
  • This is the only version of Gamera to never been show to fly on though concept art depicts Gamera flying by shooting flames (labeled "boosters") from the limb holes in his shell and/or from dedicated ports toward the top of his shell.
  • This is the first and only version of Gamera to be portrayal entirely out of CGI.

— Manafu - (GAMERA (short film))

Gyaos (ギャオスGyaosu) is a winged kaiju who appeared in the 2015 short film, GAMERA, made in commemoration of Gamera's 50th anniversary.

A swarm of Gyaos attacked Roppongi, Tokyo, devouring the humans there before Gamera arrived, killing a large Gyaos and annihilated the rest with a huge blast of flames.

Development

Gyaos' development is mostly unknown though it is likely they were also designed by Kan Takahama, while their 3D model was created by ModelingCafe.

Ishii's Gyaos designs along with Gamera served as the basis for Gyaos used in Gamera -REBIRTH-.

Design

In the 2015 GAMERA short film, the Gyaos keep some the standard Gyaos design elements with drastic alterations, notably much longer tails and a more hooked shape to the tips of their jaws, along with a hunched over stance as compared to the upright posture of previous Gyaos designs. They have a deep brown coloration, with the skin between the digits composing their wings a lighter shade. They have skeletal bodies similar to the Hyper Gyaos and Original Gyaos, but to a greater extent; they have thin necks, spike-like nodules that run from their necks down to their tails similar to vertebrae (the longest of which near the ends of their tails), and ridges along their chests. Their wings are less connected to their torsos and have a bent appearance, with only two spiked digits where the fingers would be, and the bottom edges of their wings have a torn appearance. Their eyes are circular with small black pupils giving them a wide-eyed appearance. The tongues are long and occasionally loll to the sides of their mouths.

Personality

Much like other incarnations of Gyaos, they are feral, bloodthirsty creatures with no regard for other life whatsoever. Attacking Roppongi, Tokyo and devouring any humans there. While they move together in large flocks, they are willing to cannibalize other smaller Gyaos but are quick to turn their attention on humans once more such as a large Gyaos eating a smaller Gyaos before soon turns its attention on a young boy

Origins

A swarm of Gyaos had appeared in Roppongi, Tokyo and attacked the city.

Outside of this, their origins as well as Gamera are completely unknown.

History

GAMERA 2015

In Roppongi, Tokyo, a swarm of Gyaos were attacking the district. One Gyaos was chasing a young boy named Manafu and his father. Manafu's father pushes his son out of the way just before he is eaten by the Gyaos. The Gyaos soon turn it's attention on the boy and prepares to consume the boy before a second larger Gyaos soon smashes through a nearby building and attacks it, devouring it. This Gyaos turns its attention to the boy as well and almost devours Manafu until it was crushed underfoot by Gamera, soon approaching was the remaining swarm of Gyaos and Gamera soon unleashes a gigantic blast of fire that kills them all.

Abilities

Physical abilities

The swarm of Gyaos were able to decimate Roppongi. Small Gyaos were shown to able to devour humans whole. a Gyaos was able to pick up Manafu's father with his jaws. Later a larger Gyaos was able to smash though a building and kill a Gyaos with a single bite.

Ultrasonic Scalpel

the Gyaos posses their signature ability, Ultrasonic Scalpel, similar to their Showa incarnation in appearance. Its affects on its targets are unknown however

Flight

Like all Gyaos, these are capable of flight. They were fast enough to catch humans and other Gyaos.

Weaknessess

A small Gyaos was eaten by a larger one while it itself was caught off guard and killed by a single stomp from Gamera. Gamera manages to kill the remaining swarm with a large blast of fire, burning them all completely and leaving nothing of them.

Trivia

  • This is the first and only version of Gyaos to be shown onscreen of eating other Gyaos

Viras (バイラス Bairasu) is an tentacled kaiju who appeared in the short film, GAMERA, made in commemoration of Gamera's 50th anniversary.

Ten years after Gyaos' attack, Viras was attacking Tokyo, causing large destruction before soon getting challenge by Gamera

Development

Little is known about Viras' development though it is likely it was also designed by Kan Takahama, while it's 3D model was created by ModelingCafe.

Its inclusion of being Gamera's opponent in the second half was a request from Inoue.

Design

This version of Viras posses a much different design compared to the others. Viras has a rough, shard-like body with grey skin and three large spikes on its back with two on the sides curving slightly inward. Viras has a snout with a few teeth with the same color as his skin along the rims It also possesses a tail and at least eight tentacle-like appendages.

Personality

Viras shows little personality within the short film, attacking Tokyo with little thought though it did aim to blast a building with its energy spheres.

Origins

Viras first appeared in the middle of Tokyo all of an sudden.

Outside of this, its origins as well as other kaiju are completely unknown.

History

GAMERA 2015

Ten years after Gyaos' attack and their defeat by Gamera. Viras suddenly appeared in Tokyo, swiping at surrounding building with its tentacles before blasting energy spheres at a building. Soon Gamera arrived and let out a roar of challenge at Viras

Abilities

Physical abilities

Viras possess eight tentacle-like appendages that shown to be capable of destroying surrounding building with swipes from its tentacle-like appendages easily

Energy spheres

The 2015 Viras can manifest spheres of an unspecified form of energy with its back limbs that "scrape off spaces", encasing anything caught within it before violently imploding. The attack releases hyōshigi-like sounds. It was show to encasing around part of a building before imploding and creating a large explosion.

Tivia

  • Due to its unique appearance, many fans thought Viras was a new monster created for the short, it wasn't until in June, 2025, on the talk event "Nama Ura Gamera", and later in "Gamera Expo" in November. was it revealed to be Viras all along though it was implied to be Viras as early as 2015 within literatures published in that year; Shinichiro Inoue implied it being one of Showa enemies.
  • This is the first and only incarnation of Viras to be portrayal entirely out of CGI.
  • This is the only incarnation to not be upright in stance while also possessing a real jaw.

History

Godzilla: Rulers of Earth #9

When Lucy Casprell visited Infant Island, one of the cave paintings she saw categorized all of the Earth's monsters (besides Godzilla) as associated with water, earth, fire, or air. Ganimes was one of the water monsters, along with Zilla, Varan, Titanosaurus, Gezora, Manda, Ebirah, and Kamoebas. Ganimes never returned in modern times with the Trilopods seemly never found him nor any had his characteristics, leaving his fate unknown.

Abilities

Claws

Ganimes has two pairs of claws.

Amphibiousness

Ganimes is categorized as a water monster, It is much likely he is able to walk onto land due to his legs similarly to Ebirah and crabs.

Trivia

  • Ganimes' presence in Godzilla: Rulers of Earth in Issue 9 was limited to a cave painting because IDW Publishing accidentally forgot to acquire the rights to the character. Along to the cave painting, a crab resembling Ganimes makes an appearance in one panel.
  • Ganimes along with Megalon are the only Kaiju to not make an appearance in the modern day however unlike Megalon who was shown in flashbacks, Ganime only was shown in the cave painting.

He has a large muscular body with spikes running down his back from the heads to the tails. His heads are very spikey and have a rough, almost mutated look to them. This incarnation also has eyes that are pale and lack pupils. Each head has a crescent shaped horn much like his Showa counterpart This version's scales are more angular and cobra-like as opposed to the smoother scales of past iterations.

Godzilla: Rulers of Earth

Godzilla: Rulers of Earth issue 9

Long ago in a flashback narrated by the Shobijin, Megalon emerged from the Earth and began to decimate a village under the protection of King Caesar, As he ravaged the village, King Caesar arrived with a flying kick to Megalon's face. Megalon fights back, firing a geothermal napalm bullet at King Caesar's face only for the mammalian Kaiju to kick him away once more. The two kaiju continue to battle fiercely with both not intending on retreating. The deaths of those King Caesar protected soon changed him with him being as out of control as Megalon was. it had gotten out of hand to where more monsters began rising up in efforts to correct this disruption of the cosmic balance. Eventually, the great battle was interrupted by the arrival of a Devonian war ship that crashed into the ocean, King Caesar took this opportunity and push Megalon, sending him falling into the Earth's crust before soon falling himself. Ultimately, Megalon would never be seen again. He was included among the "fire" monsters in a cave mural on Infant Island.

Design

Godzilla heavily resembles his Mire/GiraGoji designs from Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla vs Megaguirus with some differences, slightly smaller, gray and white colored dorsal fins. His tail is thinner as it goes down ending with a thagomizer. A more reptilian-like face with smaller but jagged teeth. His upper side is covered in sharp bluish green scales while his underside is a light green color with slight plating

Personality

Origins

Godzilla's origins are nearly completely unknown with two possible theories: Godzilla was a Godzillasaurus mutated by nuclear testing in the late 1930s to 1950s, the Godzillasaurus species was named as such due to their resemblance to Godzilla himself however after the discovery of an underwater cave in 2002, within it was an air pocket and a destroyed island with the remains of unknown red pterosaurs and other extinct animals. Among the land, evidence suggested that a Godzillasaurus lived here and the island had been destroyed around the 1930s to 1950s. This suggested that Godzilla was mutated during these.

The other theory suggested that Godzilla had been around for millions of years before mankind even came to be. Ancient cave-paintings that date back to 11,700 years ago have so far shown two Godzilla-like monsters, one possessing massive spikes and the other larger one that walked on fours instead, suggesting that there was a species of giant kaiju that Godzilla was a part of.

Regardless Godzilla soon rose from the sea and attacked Tokyo in 1954, causing mass destruction, Godzilla soon battles Anguirus in 1955 to 1956, since then he battle other monsters until in the late 1970s he soon disappear for nearly 30 years until 2004 after the kaiju's return and with the emergence of Dokura in Osaka.

History

Season 1:

Ep 1: Orga vs Megagurius:

In a flashback, Godzilla is seen rampaging through Tokyo in 1954, setting ablaze the surrounding area.

Ep 2: Kumonga vs Kamacuras:

In a flashback, Godzilla battles Shinomura in an unknown location and time with the blue shape-shifting kaiju wrapping around Godzilla.

Ep 3: Gorosaurus vs Titanosaurus:

In a flashback, A Godzillasaurus is roaming around in an unknown forest with a few unknown red pterosaurs flying near by, the Godzillasaurus soon engages in a battle with an ankylosaurus-like creature

Ep 4: Godzilla vs Dokura:

Godzilla soon returns in 2004 at Osaka, Godzilla briefly rampages through the city before soon encountering Dokura, the giant plant kaiju having taken control of the city before Godzilla had arrived and spread its roots across it. The two giant behemoths clash with Godzilla having an advantage at first with his intense body heat, allowing him to burn off Dokura's vines off his body. The giant plant soon decides to devour Godzilla whole, swallowing Godzilla completely. This proves to be a bad idea as Godzilla soon erupts from its stomach as he fires his atomic breath from within. Dokura remains to be living but Godzilla soon grabs its head and drags it into the ocean where both soon disappear into the distance and underwater.

EP 9: The battle of the Gargantuas

Godzilla and Dokura's battle was mention, Godzilla later soon detected swimming towards Moscow, Russia, where Anguirus is currently traveling through.

EP 10: Godzilla and Anguirus vs Mechani-Kong:

Abilities

Atomic Breath

Godzilla possess his iconic Atomic Breath which is in the color of a bright light blue. When he charges up, his dorsal fins instead glow upward in the dorsal fins, charging up like a phone battery. Godzilla is able to charge it up longer for a longer lasting atomic breath or instead fire short quick shots of them. Godzilla was capable of setting Tokyo ablaze with two shots of atomic breaths. Later in 2004 in his battle against Dokura, he was able to defeat the giant plant kaiju with a single charge shot of it.

Physical abilities

Godzilla is a powerful kaiju, smashing through much taller skyscrapers with little difficulty. Godzilla was able to battle Shinomura on equal ground despite the massive size difference, Godzilla was able to overpower the 90 meter tall Kaiju, Dokura, weighing over 25,000 metric tons at an estimate, being able to lifting the plant entirely. he later drags Dokura into the ocean.

Nuclear Pulse

Godzilla is able to use a large destructive pulse that can reach up to 500 meters in diameter, it has a destructive power that is similar to a nuke but at the cause of much radiation and thus its use is little with only a record of three uses in Godzilla's entire recorded history.

Durability

Godzilla is a highly durable kaiju, with nearly all of the military's anti-kaiju weaponry being ineffective against Godzilla's skin and merely annoying him. Dokura's spiked vines did little against Godzilla's skin while only the plant's long teeth was able to pierce his skin

Radiation absorption

Godzilla is capable of absorbing radiation, allowing him to grow stronger, Godzilla actively seeks out radiation since his return in 2004 however it is unknown as to why now as in the 1950s to 1970s, Godzilla had never went out to find anything with radiation unless low on it.

Body temperature manipulation

Godzilla is able to control his body temperature, being able to rise his temperature to less than -100 degrees Fahrenheit to over 4000 degrees Fahrenheit with some old records suggesting a higher record to even surpassing the sun's temperature, however Godzilla must possess enough radiation in order to reach high temperatures.

Amphibiousness

Godzilla spends most of his time underwater, with his swimming speed unknown. Godzilla manages to evade all sorts of detection while deep underwater whatever that be by simply being fast underwater or through other means is unknown.

Haijmushi is a tardigrade-like kaiju in an upcoming story(I guess brah) being the very first kaiju to attack humanity in 2004, the kaiju caused a mass path of destruction for nearly 3 months until it was soon successfully killed by experimental missiles. Despite being confirmed as deceased over the next 2 years, its corpse shows no signs of decomposing or rotting.

Development

Haijmushi was based off of the Strange, dead monster from 2012 San Diego Comic-Con teaser trailer for the 2014 Legendary Pictures film, Godzilla, and tardigrades. It went through two designs before being finalized to what would be the main base of any other art work.

The first was more based on the strange, dead monster and possessed three limbs instead of the four, having an overall much stockier and smaller build while being a darker brown as well and large back plating

The next still had the four limbs but far smaller back plating, it stands much more upright than both design and more visible teeth, a longer tail that gets smaller as it goes down and ends with a stump.

Name

Its name is a combination of 初め (Hajime) meaning (first) and クマムシ (Kumamushi) meaning tardigrade.

It was named such due to being the first kaiju to attack humanity and its resemblance to tardigrades.

Design

Haijmushi was based off of the Strange, dead monster and tardigrades, possessing 8 limbs, with a long, segmented body with small dark brown ridges on its back, each limb had three long movable claws. a relatively long tail with a small stub at the end. Slightly wrinkly rough light-brown colored skin, it has a split mouth with two jaws at its sides. No visible eye or ears, sharp curved teeth and lacking a tongue.

Personality

TBA

Origins

Haijmushi emerged from the ground in Seward, Alaska in 2004 and proceeded to devastate the city and going on a 3 month long path of destruction. The kaiju's origins outside of this are almost completely unknown with some suggesting it was an ancient kaiju that had laid dormant for centuries, possibly even thousands of years.
