Invisible Man (透明人間 is a Tōmei Ningen)1954 tokusatsu kaijin film produced by Toho and loosely based on the novel The Invisible Man by H. G. Wells. The film was released to Japanese theaters on December 29, 1954.

- This was the second Japanese adaptation of H. G. Wells' The Invisible Man, the first being Daiei's Invisible Man Appears in 1949, for which Eiji Tsuburaya also acted as the director of special effects.
- Invisible Man was the first science-fiction film produced by Toho following the release of Godzilla. Its director, Motoyoshi Oda, would go on to direct Godzilla Raids Again, the sequel to Godzilla, the following year.
- Invisible Man was a primary influence on Toho's Transforming Human Series, a trilogy of science-fiction films produced from 1958 to 1960.
- Actor Yoshio Tsuchiya originally wanted to play the Invisible Man in this film instead of Komatsu. Tsuchiya would eventually be cast as the titular kaijin in The Human Vapor in 1960.
