Andy Serkis is an English actor, director, and producer. He is best recognized for his motion capture performances, such as for the characters Gollum in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit series and Caesar in the Planet of the Apes reboot trilogy. He portrayed King Kong and the character Lumpy in Peter Jackson's King Kong and served as a motion capture consultant on Legendary Pictures' Godzilla.
