The Sphinx Princess is an extraterrestrial princess that appeared in the 1979 short story, "A Space Godzilla", published in Starlog magazine.
Design
The Sphinx Princess possesses the body of a cat and the head of a human, greatly resembling the sphinx from Egyptian mythology. She wears jewelry inspired by Ancient Egypt and has human-like breasts on her cat body. She has light brown skin, while her fur is a darker brown.
History
"A Space Godzilla"
When the space Godzilla, Rozan, flew onto the planet that Kunin, Lilin, the Sphinx Princess, and the Sphinx Prince were on, the Sunerians were ordered by their leader Gamoni to shoot her down. After this, a long battle ensued, and the Sunerians began to get the upper hand, with the Sunerian Queen and Gamoni killing the Godzillas off one by one. However, the Sphinx Prince ordered a group of Sphinxes to infiltrate the palace that the Sunerian forces were in and destroy it with an explosion from the inside, which they succeeded in. After this, the Space Godzillas killed off some of the Sunerians, however the Sunerians managed to kill the Sphinx Prince. At the end of the battle, the Sphinx Princess drove the Sunerian Queen off back into space.
